New COVID-19 Case Reported Monday

There are now two active cases of COVID-19 on Kaua’i after a new case was reported on Monday. This brings the total number of cases on the island to 49 since the pandemic began. Both active cases are in isolation and their close contacts are in quarantine. Mayor Kawakami says the case reported Monday is a household contact of the one reported Sunday. The mayor says both cases are related to interisland travel.
